Most authors choose to publish under their own name, but we occasionally support indie authors under the Firelight Café publishing label.

Our contract model is private treaty, meaning we customize the relationship, percentages, contributions, and other dynamics to best suit the author. We provide business management, support, and a home base for selected authors who want to avoid traditional publishing but are afraid of vanity press and hybrid models.

We earn the majority of our revenue through the a la carte services we provide, but support contracts require a 5-15% commitment depending on our level of involvement. Most of these contracts are liberated after two years.
